The Reverend Major Ronald John Paschke, RAAChD Rtd
The Reverend Ron Paschke and his wife Jenny came to the Parish in March, 2008.
Having served as a Parish Priest on the Gold Coast, where he started the Parish of Mermaid Beach/Robina, he joined the Australian Army as a Chaplain. He served with distinction for 18 years, including as Chaplain to the United Nations Peace Monitoring Forces on Bougainville. He was recognised for his work at the Jungle Training Centre at Canungra with a Training Commander's Commendation.
At the grand old age of 60, he retired from the army and undertook the position of General Manager and Chaplain to the Mission to Seafarers Centre at Fisherman's Island in Brisbane.
In March, 2008 he received a call from God to return to parish ministry and came to Holy Trinity. As a driver of change, he has led the parish to a position where we are confident to extend our mission into the community. He will be retiring from full-time ministry in August 2018, but until then will continue his ministry here on the hill with his characteristic enthusiasm and humour.
Ron and Jenny have three children, Joanne (married to Mark), Mark (married to Fiona) and Jonathan (married to Louise). They also have 6 grandchildren (Katie, Joshua, Micah, Kayleigh, Isaac and Denicka).
