Through readings that trace the story of Christ’s passion, music that conveys his pathos, and the power of silence, light and darkness that evoke the drama of the momentous day, we are transported to a place of deep contemplation. This Tenebrae service features the Exaudi Australia Choral Ensemble, conducted by Alison Rogers.
Bring along an article that represents your Baptism or has significance for your faith to share. We will display these at our Easter service, when the congregation will renew their Baptism vows.

Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent on 14th February this year. There will be two services to mark this event: Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes at 10.00am and Evening Prayer with Imposition of Ashes at 7.00pm. All welcome.
In partnership with Vocal Manoeuvres Academy, Holy Trinity is adding Evensong to our calendar of services. Evensong is a beautiful form of Anglican worship: an evening service of choral music and traditional liturgy. This year at Holy Trinity we will hold these services on select feast days throughout the year. The first one will be at 5pm on Sunday 11th February - the Feast of the Transfiguration.
Everyone is welcome - lovers of music, faithful worshippers. No experience of either is necessary to find beauty and meaning in Evensong.

Florence Li Tim-Oi was the first woman to be ordained as priest anywhere in the Anglican Communion. A small group from the diocese plan to celebrate with a Eucharist on 25th January, followed by dinner in Trinity Place.
Dinner will be potluck style. It would be helpful if you could indicate whether you are likely to bring a main/side/dessert/drinks so we don’t end up with too much or anything. If relevant, also indicate whether your contribution caters to any particular dietary requirements. We hope doing it this way allows people to give as they are able and not be put off by a price tag.
All are welcome
